Since 1988, David Terry has been regularly commissioned by publishers, newspapers, and national magazines for portraits of numerous prominent literary figures. Less publicly, he is noted for his many, privately commissioned family-portrait montages (involving family archives of both photographs and relevant documents) and portraits of individuals.
