The AKC Museum of the Dog has three photographs by Alain
Foussier in their permanent collection. Foussier was born in
Boulogne-Billancourt in France. He spent his childhood years between France
and the United States. After university in the US he settled in France. At
Present he lives in the northern part of the Netherlands. Coming from a
family where art and nature are important ingredients of daily life, it is
almost inevitable that his favorite topics are animals. Alain believes that
life goes by too quickly to rush through it. He tries to capture a specific
moment in time which shows the mood and spirit of the animal in front of the
lens.
